Explanation of terms found in our listings:

Ensuite - the bathroom facilities are accessed directly from the bedroom.
Private facilities - the bedroom has its own bathroom but it is outside the bedroom.
Standard - the bedroom shares its bathroom facilities with one or more other bedrooms.

Family3 (or Family4 etc) - indicates a family room and the number of people it sleeps, usually one double and one or two single or bunk beds.

Ground Floor Bedrooms - the accommodation offers bedroom and bathroom facilities on the ground floor but there may be steps into the property.

Maximum Price - where the property has no single rooms the price per person is based on two people sharing, there may be extra charges for one person in a double room.

TV available - the property offers televisions in bedrooms or a shared television lounge.

Ratings Information - During 2008 we are working towards ensuring all our accommodation is inspected. At present only those properties displaying a Visit Britain, AA or RAC rating are inspected. For explanations of ratings visit our Information page.
