Our next family session will take place from 2-4pm on Sunday 7 May. The session is open to mums, dads, grandparents and indeed any adult carers who would like to bring their children along to have fun learning and exploring outdoors.
We will be discovering the Japanese art of Hapa Zome (beating leaves and flowers with hammers to pound their natural pigments into cloth), using wood and yarn to weave "Ojos de Dios" (Spanish for Eye of God) and exploring a range of activities such as making shelters and building dens, and creating clay animals. Our campfire snack will be chocolate popcorn, accompanied by spiced apple juice. The usual free play activities of playing in the stream and on the rope swing will also be running.
The session is priced at £10 for 1 adult and 1 child over 18 months. Additional members of the same family (adult or child) are priced at an extra £1 each. Children under 18 months go free. Numbers are limited and sessions must be booked in advance by sending PayPal payment to buccaneersfowey@gmail.com. Please provide your name, childrens' names and a contact email so we can confirm all the location details to you after booking.
