Map showing the location of towns and villages around the Fowey Estuary

From the M5 in Devon the Fowey Estuary is reached by either the A30 or the A38/A390.
From West Cornwall the area is best reached by using the A390.

*Please note, from 29th June 2015 for nearly 2 years there will be major roadworks on the A30 at Temple whilst that section is being dualled. There will be  a 40mph speed limit in place and you can expect delays particularly travelling Westbound on a Saturday between 9am and 4pm and travelling Eastbound on a Friday/Saturday between 10am and 6pm We advise to avoid these times or take an alternative route via A38 or A39. There will be some overnight closures in which case there will be a diversion via Camelford on the A359/A39*

Please note our directions may use a different route to that shown by satellite navigation, this is to avoid narrow, single track lanes where congestion can easily occur.
