Visiting Fowey
Fowey is an ancient harbour town built on a hill, as a result the roads in Fowey are narrow and steep with there are many steps and little in the way of pavements.
Although Fowey offers plenty of parking it is limited in the centre of the town.
The information here will help you find a suitable route for parking and accessing the town.
On approaching Fowey by car you will see signs to the Bodinnick Ferry.
Follow these and park at Caffa Mill car park.
The town is a fairly level walk with some inclines approximately 10 minutes from here.
The Main car park is at the top of the town with a steep walk down.
A shuttle bus runs everyday during the summer and a limited service in the winter.
This runs from the Main car park to the town centre and back.
There are no specific facilities on the mini bus but the driver is willing to offer assistance.
