You can also check your Page Setup under the File menu, here you can set your page margins to ensure you are not losing any information from the sides of your pages. The following settings are the ones best used for printing pages from this site.
Paper Size: A4
Orientation: Portrait

Additional Settings
You can choose to remove the background colours when printing if you wish, this will help save on your ink cartridges. To turn background printing off, choose Internet Options from the Tools menu, go to the Advanced tab and move down to Printing, by removing the tick from the box you will stop background colours from printing when printing internet pages.
If you wish to hide the pictures, (this applies to both printing and viewing so once you have cleared this option you will see no images on the internet until you turn it back on again), go back to the Advanced tab in Internet Options (see above) move down to the Multimedia section and clear the box named Show Pictures.
Alternative Option
At present we do not offer a text only option, however, if you wish to print the text only, simply highlight the text you wish to copy with your mouse, choose Copy from the Edit menu or by right clicking on your mouse, open a word processing programme such as Word or Note Pad and paste the information into it in the same way as you copied it. You can then print the information from that programme, although you may find that you loose some of the formatting it is a simple way of printing text only.
