The river and the sea do, of course, play a major role in and around Fowey and you can be sure to find a host of ways to get out on the water. Harbour cruises leave the Town Quay regularly in season giving you a superb view of the town and a great deal of history and local information from the experienced skippers. For the more adventurous, rent your own self drive boat, kayak or stand up paddle board and explore the estuary under your own steam! Alternatively, you can book an escorted kayak expedition, go fishing, learn to sail or drive a high speed powerboat - the options are endless!
