About Golant in Cornwall Lying about 3 miles upriver from Fowey, Golant is a pretty waterside village. Much loved as a stop off on a river trip or kayaking expedition, the village is in a stunning position hugging the banks of the river, the views here are tremendous. During the summer months the river and village are busy with boating activity but in the quieter winter months a great variety of birdlife can be seen on the water – egrets, cormorants, herons, kingfishers as well as ducks and swans. The village has a local pub serving real ales it also has regular entertainment including live music and a beer festival. Whilst you can also use Golant as the starting point for your own kayaking adventure with hire and organised expeditions available in the village. The 12 metre indoor swimming pool is open daily from 8am to 8pm, children are very welcome and we have equipment and toys for all ages. Whilst our outdoor pool is open from Easter to October. Immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings of the spa and enjoy a relaxing treatment. Bring harmony to your mind and body and stimulate your senses. It's the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and indulge your mind, body and soul. The facilities include four spectacular treatment rooms, an indoor hot tub, steam room and horsebox sauna.
