A very large beach with ample parking and facilities nearby. Ideal for families and also popular for flying kites and kite surfing. Location: Par, on the coast west of Fowey, signed from A3082 between Fowey and Par. O/S grid reference: 088533 Nearest car park: At the rear of the beach, chargeable in season. Access: Car park behind the beach but deep soft sand from the car park, makes it harder for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Sand / pebbles etc: Sandy. Swimming: Shallow for a long distance. Toilets: Yes, short walk behind the beach. Refreshments: Shop/cafe and pub close by. Dogs allowed: yes all year.
