There will be plenty of half term activities at Cornwall’s Regimental Museum this May/June half term. The museum will be open every day between 10 am and 5 pm, with family activities throughout the week, including arts and crafts fun medal making sessions, military dressing up, our fun trail and quiz, and the chance to play the bugle!
Visitors can also explore ‘The Keep’, our Victorian Barracks and former home of the DCLI, including our cold war era military police cell. During this half term visitors are being given the opportunity to go ‘behind the scenes’ and visit the museum’s incredible attic spaces. These spaces have been used as many things over the years, including our picture stores (pictured). Recently the attics were even investigated for supernatural activity! Short informal tours will take place between 2pm and 4pm daily, and there is no extra charge and no need to book in advance. Please note that the attics and museum are only accessible by stairs.
