About
China clay mining has transformed St Austell's landscape dramatically over time. Immerse yourself in our Cornish china clay heritage and explore this transformative effect as the Wheal Martyn clay pit, woodlands and trails undergo a very special transformation of their own.
Working in partnership with Greenwave Laser, we will be holding a three day event including stunning laser show performances projected onto the clay pit, and immersive light trails, leading into a Woodland Wonderland UV experience.
Clay lanterns and glow in the dark decorations made during the October half term workshops will be exhibited at the three day celebration in December – keep an eye out for yours!
Every night has 5 sessions: 16.00; 16.30; 17.00; 17.30 and 18.00 hrs. A session takes about 3 hours.
