About

This spring we have a tour of the house, an evening of live music and a tractor rally, amongst other things...

Vintage Tractor Rally: Sunday 16th April.

The tractors will assemble outside the house at 9am before leaving at 10am to drive around the surrounding countryside returning by 1pm for a pasty.

Join Historian and Author Catherine Lorigan for a tour of Boconnoc House on Wednesday 19th April between 2pm and 5pm.

Catherine will lead this fascinating tour of the house and grounds detailing the stories, history and paintings from the past.

Guests will also be shown around the 800 year old church and Georgian bath house here at Boconnoc.

After the tour guests will be treated to a delicious Cornish cream tea in the Smoking Room, with homemade scones lovingly baked by our Housekeeper Kay.
Boconnoc House, the winner of the 2012 HHA/Sotheby’s Award for Restoration was bought with the proceeds of the Pitt Diamond in 1717. Three prime ministers, a history of duels and the architect Sir John Soane play a part in the story of this unique estate.

Ticket Price: £25.00

Stable Yard Sessions – ISLYA

This Earth Day (22nd April 2023) we are excited to welcome ISYLA back to Boconnoc for another intimate performance. The climate conscious songwriters will unite listeners with their ethereal harmonies whilst highlighting the importance of protecting our planet.

They combine their love for cinematic arrangements, dynamic harmonies and sultry grooves. Since their debut ISYLA’s have featured on BBC Introducing, Absolute Radio (Frank Skinner) and performed a live session on Radio X (John Kennedy). After a year of live performances that included Cornwall Folk Festival and The Eden Project, ISYLA began 2023 with their enchanting new release and folk-pop epic “Snow is a Colour”.
