Join us for the reawakening of our gardens this May half-term
We’ll be celebrating with daily live music sessions in the Med Biome, and a new family trail around the gardens showcasing the incredible resilience of plants and the amazing journeys they take to provide our world with wild and diverse flora.
Here’s what we’ve got planned this half-term.
Music in the Med
Timings: 30-minute sessions at 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm each day
An orchestra of musicians will be playing daily in four socially-distanced stations in the Mediterranean Biome. They'll be putting on a medley of uplifting tunes, featuring everything from classical favourites to contemporary sounds.
Plants’ Amazing Journeys family trail
Plants are amazing, and the journeys they take to survive are incredible. Grab an activity sheet and follow a trail around our gardens to discover some of their incredible stories of adventure. By flying, floating and making underground networks, plants have travelled the globe in their quest to survive, giving us hope for a continued wild and diverse planet. Plus, see if your little ones can spot our giant seeds, hanging from the trees!
Pre-book a picnic for your visit
Sort lunch ahead of time by pre-booking a Grazing Box along with your tickets, and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up on arrival. They’re packed full of Cornwall’s finest produce and include everything you need for the perfect picnic. Plus, they’re completely plastic free! See the full range of food and drink available for half-term.
