This festival has now firmly established itself in the town's calendar with arts and craft stalls in venues all over the town along with live music and dance both indoors and out.
What happens?
For the whole of Sunday the ancient town of Lostwithiel gives itself over to an eclectic mix events with over one hundred arts, crafts and food stalls and demonstrations throughout the town, non-stop street music, dance and performers plus kids’ craft activities and entertainment.
How can you take part?
You can browse artisan stalls in locations dotted around the town where you can find jewellery, ceramics, paintings, glassware, accessories and antiques. For foodies there’s a range of companies offering everything from seafood to curry. The main action centres on The Parade which is closed to traffic for the day and where you’ll find a celebration of up-coming local talent with live bands providing entertainment on the main stage and around the streets. Local historic buildings are open to the public including St Bartholomew's Church, Lostwithiel Museum and the Mayor's Parlour.
All the events are free and donations raise money for The Front Line Emergency Equipment Trust (FLEET) which has supported the ambulance service in Cornwall for the last 20 years.
