The 2nd largest of the fleet,
the Earl of Pembroke was originally named Orion and was built in Pukavik, Sweden in 1948.
She traded timber in the Baltic and British East Coast until being laid up in Denmark in 1974.
Square Sail purchased her in 1979 and in 1985 she underwent a complete restoration programme.
In 1994 she was commissioned as the three masted 18th century wooden Barque that she is today.
