Santa Claus is Coming to (Charles)Town

About

Santa Claus will be welcoming youngsters to his festive grotto at Charlestown’s Shipwreck Treasure Museum over the winter period and there’s an extra special offer for early bird bookings.

The Santa Experience will take place on the following dates with timeslots between 11 am and 6:30pm:

Saturday 7th December and Sunday 8th December

Daily from Saturday 14th December until Monday 23rd December

Travel through the UK’s longest festive tunnel of lights beneath the museum, have an encounter with Alabaster Snowball the elf and discover Santa Claus in his underground grotto this December.

Children and their families will be able to explore the enchantingly lit tunnels before being greeted by Alabaster Snowball, a very important elf indeed. This employee of Santa’s North Pole workshop is entrusted with the administration of the naughty or nice list. You’ll be sure to be nice to this elf on your visit to the Shipwreck Treasure Museum this December!

Once elves have guided visitors through the glowing passageways, they’ll have the chance to meet Santa Claus in his underground grotto. Tell him your Christmas wishes before receiving a gold star to be placed under your pillow on Christmas Eve. This way he will know where to find youngsters to bring them their presents.

As well as meeting Santa Claus, younger visitors to the Shipwreck Museum will also be able to show off their artistic skills at the festive crafts workshop to decorate their own bauble.

In addition to all the festive activities there will be the chance to explore the Shipwreck Museum and its wealth of treasures with over 8,000 artefacts from around the world.

Families can save by booking online now for just £6 per child with a free accompanying adult. Pre-booking is essential to get a timeslot to meet Santa Claus.
