Fowey River Camera Club host a talk by Steve Bulford on the Snow Hill Island Emperor Penguins in Antarctica
Wednesday 11th November 7.30
Admission £5 including refreshments
Steve will be recounting his trip to the Antarctic, travelling through the Weddell Sea aboard a Russian ice breaker, trying (and it was very trying!) to reach the Emperor Penguin colony at Snow Hill Island, with the goal to hopefully see the adults and chicks in their rookery - the final leg being via helicopter and a one mile walk on sea ice
A two part illustrated talk, each half lasting approximately 40 minutes
