About

Title:     Loose Cannons

Dates:   Thursday 4th September

Summary: Loose Cannons is a group of five friends who have many years’ experience singing with other shanty groups. They decided to get together in 2023 to get back into singing some of the songs they love in a smaller acoustic group, enabling them to rock up and sing in smaller venues without the need for PA gear, a kind of shanty Flying Squad! They hit the ground running in 2023 with successful gigs at Falmouth, Weston, St Ives, Mevagissey and even Leigh on Sea in Essex. Their style is entertaining with lots of audience participation but, as the name suggests, you never know what to expect from Loose Cannons!
